The Honey Crisp apple. We used it to make this delicious holiday inspired kombucha, not only for it's perfect sweet and tart balance, but because we love how its success comes from tasting really good, despite being difficult to grow and store. How easily a consumable is made, stores, and distributes has considerable influence over its success. So, it's nice to hear about products that make it for the sole reason of just being a great product.
We visited Petrov's Kiwi Farm in Abbotsford. Gorgi was nice enough to let us tour his kiwi trees which was super cool to see! We didn't expect for kiwis to be locally grown and in season right now, but when life gives you kiwis you make kiwi kombucha. Add in some lime for that extra something, and it's a banger.
