We are sharing our Mother's unique strains of bacteria and yeast that work so hard to brew our one-of-a-kind kombucha.


A SCOBY is an acronym for "symbiotic culture of bacteria and yeast". It is what transforms your sweet tea into kombucha.


These SCOBY babies are in 500ml mason jars. We recommend putting these into a 2-4 litre batch of sweet tea to start brewing it into kombucha!

    • When you receive your SCOBY, it will be in a 500L mason jar with the lid screwed on. Please unscrew the mason jar to let the SCOBY breath ASAP.
    • Then, secure a tightly woven cloth over the mouth of the jar with string or elastic bands to prevent fruit flies from getting in while allowing it to breath. 
    • Store in a dark, room temperature place for up to two weeks before using to start your next batch of kombucha.
    • We don't recommend refrigerating them, as this can cause the SCOBY to become sluggish
